The storms in Sydney on the original date of the 4th of June forced the postponement of this event. A date has now been chosen and it’s hoped that the weather conditions will be favourable this time. The long-term forecasts look good.
After a long restoration journey, Ballarat 37 will be relaunched on Sunday, 18th of September at the Sydney Tramway Museum. To celebrate this milestone, all our operating Victoria trams will be running – including Bendigo 11, Melbourne W2 249, Melbourne Y1 611 and Melbourne Z2 111. Come along and enjoy the festivities as this historic tram re-enters service.

While the above trams are hoped to be running and work is in progress to ensure they are ready for the day, unforeseen issues may result in changes to the program.
