The Sydney Vintage Tramway Festival celebrates the heritage of Sydney’s wonderful tramway system, once among the largest tramways in the world.
We will be pulling out all the stops! Some of our oldest & rarest trams, dating back to early 1900s will be putting their best wheels forward to give you a day to remember!
This year will feature a cross of our older cars (L/P 154 & N 728), middle range cars (O’s 1111 & 805) and the youngest trams (P 1497 & R 1740)
Fares for the Day are;
$20 – Adults
$15 – Concessions
$10 – Children (Under 5’s are free)
$50 – Family (2 Adults & 2 Children. Additional children are free)

These fares are good for Tram Rides all day, so you can ride as many Trams as you like, and it includes entry to our Display Hall.

This year, the Sydney Bus Museum will be taking their 1937 Leyland TD4 / Waddingtons double decker to Loftus.
The bus will start out from Leichhardt 9:30am, picking up at Central Station (Railway Square, Lee St before Stand K) at 9.50am. The bus will then proceed directly to the Tramway Museum with an anticipated arrival of 10.50am.
Seats are limited to approximately 50 for a comfortable journey, and bookings are essential.
