January brings us some useful public holidays: New Year’s Day and Australia Day.
Last entry on all occasions is one hour before closure.
Trams operate to The Royal National Park every Sunday and public holiday, the first tram operates at 10.15am, then hourly with the last tram at 4.15 pm. On other days, National Park trams operate as required while the Museum is open.
Mobility Impaired Access
Mobility-impaired visitors have easy access to most of the site. However as the trams themselves were designed up to 120 years ago, access to the trams is somewhat restricted by their design. However, a platform is provided to ease access to trams and the Museum staff will assist wherever possible.
No animals, aside from accredited guide dogs, are permitted on the grounds of the Museum or on the trams.
