On the 1st of February 2020, the 2 road pit was cleared to allow 2107 to run over the pit to enable it’s bogies to be inspected and the general condition of the underside assessed. The 2 road pit is 20m long, 2107 is 30m long.
2107 was moved 3 times, with each bogie being placed in turn over the wider section of the pit.
Some minor repairs and cleaning was also carried out.
