For many years the Sydney Tramway Museum has aspired to run into Sutherland, all the way to the old Cronulla-Sutherland steam tram station building alongside Sutherland railway station.
The following are a series of pictures, that member Joseph Spinella created to ‘assist’ with visualising what a possible extension into Sutherland would look like today. The images are too good to just bury in another submission to council.
Some of the base material (recent shots of Old Princes Hwy, Sutherland) were contributed by Martin Pinches, and then Joe worked his magic on the photograph.
Note these images do not represent an actual plan, but just what trams MAY look like should this dream ever happen.
Looks good hope it happens
I hope I live to see it happen!

When is the next steam train working
The steam trains are run by the NSW Rail Museum, <https://www.nswrailmuseum.com.au>
They are running the single deck electric to Loftus on the 28th of February 2021, but that appears to be already sold out. The Kiama Picnic train passes through Loftus regularly in the season but does not stop. <https://picnictrain.com.au/>
