Sydney’s Vintage Tramway Festival

Rides on coupled toastrack trams!

IMG_4120aRe-enact treasured memories from the fifties when two pre-World War I toastrack’s trams, the last complete ones from a fleet of over 600 work together to take riders into the Royal National Park.

The first of these re-enactments will take place at 11 am on our Festival Day, a second one will run in the afternoon.

The older of the two, 805 in its drab brown has relaxed for fifty years at the Powerhouse Museum, who have kindly lent it to our Museum. Still in perfect running order, it will run coupled to its younger class member, in the post 1933 green and cream colours.

During the day, younger and older cars will operate giving all our visitors experiences to remember!
